Men's soccer announces six rookies

NIAGARA UNIV., NY – Niagara Men’s Soccer Head Coach Bill Boyle announced six new recruits joining the team in the fall of 2022. Anthony Amato, Jamie Barry, savior brown, Alberto Sanchez Cervera, Brady McNulty When Robert Woods Everyone joined the team.

Anthony Amato | | Back | 5’8 | Grand Island, NY | Grand Island High School
Amato joined the Purple Eagles from Grand Island High School, who was named the Greater Niagara Newspaper’s Men’s Soccer Player of the Year in 2021. In 2017 she participated in the Irish Milk Her Cup as her GPS National her team. Amato played at her level club in the Western New York Flush.

Jamie Barry | | Goalkeeper | 6’3 | Dublin, Ireland | St. Paul’s College
Barry hails from Dublin, Ireland and most recently played for Dundalk U19s. He compiled his 7-4-3 record in his most recent season. Barry played for Dundalk U15s until November 2018.

savior brown | | Forward | 5’9 | Painesville, Liberia | University of Liberia
Brown came to Monte Eagle Ridge from the University of Liberia. Brown played for Gardnersville FC and last season he scored 15 goals. He will be promoted to the LISCF FC First Team in July 2022.

Alberto Sanchez Cervera | | Back | 6ft 1 | Valencia, Spain | Levante UD
Sanchez Cervera joined the Purple Eagles from Valencia, Spain and attended Cumbres School in Valencia. He played football for his seven years at Levante UD, one of his academies in Spain’s top football. He captained the team for four years and his team won his Comunidad Valenciana championship.

Brady McNulty | | Back | 6’1 | San Gabriel, CA | Temple City High School
McNulty transferred from Cal State Northridge to NU, where he played for the club’s men’s soccer team. While in high school, he was his two-time Rio Hondo League Defender of the Year and two-time Temple City School MVP. McNulty said he played at the club level for FC Golden State ECNL and in 2021 he was named to the All-ECNL Southwest Conference first team.

Robert Woods| | Forward | 5’8 | Lewiston, NY | Lewiston Porter
Woods is a local product that comes to NU from Lewiston Porter High School. Woods was named to the All-Western New York twice. He finished second in school history with his 71 goals, including 19 game winners. Woods led the Niagara Frontier League in goals and points in both 2020 and his 2021.
